Technicians are laying down miles of cables linking the 18 TV cameras for tomorrow’s ceremony. Gardeners are putting the final touch around the white crosses. Technicians, French gardeners, German and French soldiers, tourists from all over the world but the busiest man on site is Daniel Neese, Colleville American Cemetery’s superintendent.
